CESC’s emphasises on creating a delightful Customer experience at each Consumer touchpoint and hence, the organization, in an innovative step towards promoting digital behaviours, has introduced its maiden Customer Rewards Program called "E-Points: CESC Digital Rewards” to give an extra benefit to Consumers, who pay bills online.
Aligned with the organizational core value of sustainability and Customer first, CESC intends to promote online bill payments among its Consumers as it is hassle free, fast and eco-friendly. All Consumers of CESC who have no payment overdue, or have faced any charges of power theft in the past, become eligible for the rewards programme by adopting online bill payments and opting for e-bills or paperless bills delivered to the registered email address of Consumers.
There are different reward points for each step of online payment. For registration to the reward programme Consumers are eligible to earn 200 points. Consumers may earn 100 points for paperless bill registration. Up to 200 points can be earned for paying online within the due date for 3 consecutive months. These reward points can be redeemed for a variety of lifestyle goods and services from over 40 well-known brands in healthcare, entertainment, dining, beauty, travel, electronics, and many other exciting categories.
Customers can register in the reward program through any of CESC's digital interfaces like the CESC Website and CESC’s revamped Mobile App (available on both Android and iOS). Once registered, CESC Consumers may continue to pay bills digitally on any UPI APP, through CESC’s Chat bot or WhatsApp bot and more, in addition to the website and mobile app, and redeem the points for timely online payments.
