Guidelines for
"General Name Change"
This process is simple and is only meant for change of name with load remaining unchanged.
No Application Fee needs to be paid for submitting an Application for Name Change. However, the Maintainable Security Deposit has to be paid by the Applicant.
Kindly ensure that the current bill is paid. Existing ECS, if any, will be discontinued.
Change of Name will be effected upon payment of the Security Deposit bill and the amount of the same will be displayed (in Red Font) in the ANNEXURE - A1 form once the corresponding Consumer No. is submitted below.

"Spouse (husband / wife) of Deceased Consumer Requesting Name Change"
When the registered Consumer is deceased, the Spouse (Husband / wife) may request Name Change by completing the fields below
Please ensure that the current bill is paid. Existing ECS, if any, will be discontinued.
Not applicable for disconnected Consumers.
No fresh Security Deposit needs to be paid, as the existing Security Deposit held in the registered Consumer's name would be transferred in the Spouse's name. However, the Company reserves the right as per Statutes to realise any shortfall in Security Deposit at any point of time on demand from you, failing which the supply is liable for disconnection upon serving statutory Notice.
Upon successful submission of the application,the Name Change would be effected from the next billing cycle subject to the Terms & Conditions.
