This is applicable for cases where supply has been disconnected for Non-payment of Electricity bills or when the consumer had voluntarily surrendered the supply. Apart from the above if the supply has been disconnected for any other reasons, then for reconnection of supply you are requested to visit your Regional Office for assistance.
This process is only applicable if the disconnection is within 6 months from the date of application.
Reconnection can only be processed in favour of the erstwhile Consumer.
Meter should be physically present in the Meter Board.
Upon payment of the necessary charges and compliance of other formalities as may be applicable, if while carrying out the reconnection it is found that any of the aforesaid declarations are incorrect then the said application would be treated as cancelled.
For all completed applications including payment received within 3 PM (Monday to Friday) and 1st,3rd & 5th (Saturday), we will endeavor to reconnect on the same day failing which the same will be reconnected on the following working day.
